Saint Martin invites students into our school community who are committed to academic, spiritual, social, emotional, and physical growth. During the admissions process, Saint Martin reviews academic, disciplinary, and attendance records, as well as teacher recommendations.

While we are serious about preparing students for college and career success, we also believe that school should be fun! Caring for the whole student, we believe that involvement in extracurriculars is essential to continuing to form talented, well-rounded, and interesting individuals.

Unveiling the Journeys of Saint Martin Graduates

At Saint Martin, our commitment to maintaining a strong connection with our alumni is unwavering. In our continuous efforts to stay connected to alumni about their journeys, we reached out to three recent Saint Martin graduates to gain insight into their current endeavors. It brings us much joy to learn about their ambitious plans and witness the lasting impact that Saint Martin continues to have on their lives even beyond graduation. No matter the path our alumni choose, Saint Martin prepares students to be college & career prepared and ready for life!

Cherish ‘21: Breaking Barrier in Film & Media

Cherish McNeil ‘21 is a student at Hampshire College majoring in Representation in Film, Media, and Creative Writing. This semester, she is studying abroad in England which has been an incredible experience. Cherish shared that she chose to study abroad because she wanted to inspire people back at home that this is a path that they can go on, especially as a first-generation Black college student. Cherish is a member of multiple on-campus clubs including Student Government, Black Student Union, and is in the process of creating a new club that focuses on diverse voices within theater and film. Cherish feels that Saint Martin prepared her for the future because of the vast professional experience she can put on her resume because of Corporate Work Study. She shares, “Many people are very surprised with how well my resume is written and the experiences I had had at a young age. This is all thanks to Saint Martin and the opportunities I had in high school.” In 5 years, Cherish sees herself completing her master’s degree in two separate fields and on her way to law school. She aspires to work for a big corporation like Netflix or Disney. Cherish thanks Saint Martin for giving her a family and helping her feel prepared for future endeavors.

Dyonna ‘21: Mastering Business & Beauty

Dyonna Powell ‘21 is an undergraduate student at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio. She is majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Finance Management. After this school year, Dyonna will be transferring to Cleveland State University. While studying, Dyonna also works at Ahuja Medical Center in the Administration Support Department and also runs her own business selling beauty products. Dyonna feels she excels in college because Saint Martin helped her to become college ready. She shares, “Because of all the essays I wrote at Saint Martin, now when I have a paper due for a class it’s a breeze because I know how to write a great essay.” In 5 years Dyonna hopes to have earned her Master’s in Business Administration and become a Corporate Accountant. When asked what she misses most about Saint Martin, Dyonna expressed how much she missed the loving environment. “It is really like a family at Saint Martin and I appreciated that.”

Bernard ‘19: Soaring to Success in the Air Force & Real Estate

Bernard Greer ‘19 is a student at the University of Phoenix majoring in Business Management while also serving in the United States Air Force in the Transportation Management Department. Recently, Bernard signed on for more years of active service in the military and is excited about what that will bring. If being a full-time student and a member of the Air Force wasn’t enough, Bernard is also in the process of earning his Ohio real estate license. Bernard believes that Saint Martin helped him become college ready by teaching him valuable skills that help him today like productivity, organization, and time management. In 5 years, Bernard sees himself with a college degree, still in the military, as well as managing several real estate properties. When asked what he would thank Saint Martin for, his answer was right to the point, community.
